Ok, We have new management in and we're back in business. Tuesday's acustic night is going a little slow at the moment up till about eleven when all the players from the vic come up to take advantage of the late licence so we could realy do with some players coming in earlier and making a night of it. I'm usually there from about 9.30pm. Also Starting in about two weeks from this post we have an Electric jam on a thursday with a full band setup (Drums, Bass, electric guitar and full P.A.) and we can accomadate anything else you want to plug in/mic up. If you can rock then this is the place to be. Singers also welcomed (kareoke has nothing on singing with a live band). Give us a try, weather you play sing or just come to listen you'll have fun and the beers great too.

P.s if you do make it one night please leave a post on here letting us know your thoughts

Personaly I like to do more modern tracks ie Oasis, Snow Patrol, Coldplay ect But it all depends who turns up on the night. Some do Irish/folk. As stated in my last post its looking grim for the Ross however there are a number of other jam nights around Shipley. The Victoria has an acoustic session on a tuesday and an electric session on a thursday with a full band setup. Sundays you have a choice between The Junction (mainly Irish/Folk) or the Shipley Pride which is more varied. I hope our paths cross but if not enjoy

Maybe I should come along - what kind of music do you play?

It's not going too well at the moment the landlady has jumped ship to run the old dolphin at clayton hights and put a relief manager in. until we know whether the new management is going to appear on the horizon and want to continue the jams we're all just keeping our fingers crossed, which makes it hard to play guitar. If it does all go to pot, I'd just like to thank all those that have contributed in making tuesdays a day to look forward to for the past four years. I've met some charecters, had memorable nights and learnt some stuff. I will be there tonight and until im told not to come back so if your up for it lets rock!
